- Are you sure you going to get away?
- You are doubting me?
- I'm just worried about you.
- I know what to do.
Leigh came out when the sun was almost disappearing in the sky and the movement of people was smaller than during the day. David had recommended him the map of the building, but he had refused. It should not be so hard to find the department where they worked.
He followed by Fifth Avenue and looked all blocks and buildings with caution, lest they lose the building of view now. Leigh walked to get near the end of the avenue when he saw a building with seven floors made of glass, but that made it impossible to view the inside of it. There was no trace of destruction or surveillance in that building, so Leigh could enter smoothly.
The front door opened automatically when he approached it. At first the boy was afraid, but nothing happened and when Leigh finally entered and the door closed softly and he noted that there was a suspended ceiling plate indicating all departments that had that building. He looked each of the departments to find the Robotic Intelligence department, where Holly worked and that was on the top floor. There was no need to ask if the elevator was working, because of course it was not.
For a moment he felt tired simply by thinking about having to climb all those stairs to get on the seventh floor. A step, then another and then another until he reached the top floor without even realizing it.
- How did it happen?
He was on the top floor seconds later it started up the stairs and he was not even tired. However, David would say that he has always been a hyperactive person, so he should forget about it and focus on finding the database.
- David, I am on the seventh floor.
- You were fast. Well, go to the last door on the right. The Robotic Intelligence department is on the whole floor, but Holly worked more in that room. I believe that there will be no access to the internet. so do not think you can do something about it.
- I can try to do something.
He went to the department. There were numerous disabled and prototypes robots, as well as calculations and reports that have not been completed. There was a mobile in the corner of the huge room, where they had some documents and completed experiments reports signed by some scientists who worked in the room, who ran the initial project development.
Leigh began searching for computers for some indication of Holly's database, but no internet access that would be laborious.
The binary codes began to appear again, but seemed to work according to what Leigh was thinking and before long, he had gained access to the internet. The boy froze, still trying to understand what was going on until he realized a countdown in the corner, indicating that the internet would not be for an unlimited period.
He searched all computers that were in that room, but he found nothing. There was nothing on any computer department.
- David, I found nothing.
- Go back. Forget it, Leigh.
- No. I am here, I'll find it, surely there must be something here.
- And if you find? What will you do?
- I do not know, but I need ...
Leigh felt that something was wrong. He had a deep headache, but it was like an electric shock was the pacify his brain at that very moment.
- Leigh! Leigh! What's happening?
- I do not know ...
He had to lean on a table to keep from falling to the ground. It was as if his head were processing information a mile a minute and now the neurons were shorted.
- Leigh!
The Holly's face crying was the last thing he saw.
