【XXII. Start the Fire】

  - I'm tired of your games toddler! If you do not come, I will.
Logan had tried to use the shadows, but it was in vain. Claude climbed ever higher and where there were fewer shadows. Surely it could not continue like that, but he would not go into an unarmed confrontation that way. All was not yet lost.
He looked around where Claude was, but there was no strong shadow long enough to cause a lethal injury or which could serve as a weapon. But a small shadow caught his eye and a little concentration, he managed to make that little shadow to turn into a knife. Calculated the height of the heart of the enemy so that later he could reach it.

Everything was successful, but one of his wings was bleeding and Logan was forced to land. That same vampire who had disappeared had managed to make a cut on the right wing and he could not fly anymore because besides losing blood, it was causing him much pain. Anyway, could not be greater than the pain I was feeling Claude, who was able to bring him down from the tree where he was. Unlike him, the blood of the enemy was bright red, a fascinating shade of scarlet that was beginning to tint the ground slowly.
With a simple command, the Shadow has returned to what it was and the disappeared back to Claude, who advanced with his fierce and wounded pride.
- Are you finding it extremely confident, is not it? Cause I'll put you in your place.
He shot Logan with ease against the wall of the house, making a scary crash. The demon had hit his head hard and this resulted in a cut on the back and a large dizziness. Anyway, managed to stand again, but could not fly. That wing that was hurt was now even more than it was. The throbbing pain in his back.
Claude had no pity. A pointed stick used to hit the arm of the enemy. Logan managed to heal, but what he really wanted was to be able to heal the wings, which were in a too serious to be cured quickly. That would take days.
- You are a great disgrace to the demons. Never seen such a weak person like you. This is pathetic. If it were not for the blood you took your brother you never have evolved into what it is now.
The memory of the taste of blood made Phillip Logan boil of hatred and move forward without help from the shadows. He cared little advantage or not, the fact was that nobody played with the memories he still had, especially the death of his family. However, instead of moving on Claude, he entered the house, breaking his promise.
- Are you kidding hiding, Carter? Then so be it.
The door closed with a hard hit behind Claude.
