✗ Fourteen

The day passed quickly. Raven only noticed it when the guy who was playing guitar left and she was forced to do the same thing. The moon was appearing in the sky and people were already going to their homes, it was almost time for dinner. Dinner. This word reminded Axel involuntarily. Was he thirsty now? Will Leah be there to help him feed?
She tried to get these thoughts out of his head, but could not. For the first time, the girl knew how to have a guilty conscience, however, what would have been her if she accept? Maybe Axel had actually handled better, or maybe he kept locked in a room and only appeared when he had thirst.
But good would not think about that now. She could not think about what would happen if he had chosen otherwise. What Raven should do now is forget about it and move on. If Axel actually have a human side as he appears to be, he would understand her reasons and reappear.
She was still away from college when bumped into a girl with red hair and blue eyes who was dressed in black and violet.
- I'm so sorry.
The girl stood up and looked at Raven curiously from head to toe.
- My name is Ashley - she said as she walked around the girl, sniffing the air - You smell good.
Raven did not know whether grateful or if he ran, but made his decision when Ashley heard a sound like a kind of howl. She tried to run as fast as his legs could when he saw three shadows appeared and joined Ashley for tracking her down. Certainly were vampires because the prey were almost as white as those of Axel.
   Axel.
If he were there ... But it was not. She would have to take care of herself if she wanted to get home intact.
- We will not hurt you, little girl. Do not be afraid.
Ashley's laughter was what left Raven still terrified. She was already at the maximum speed limit, but there was still much to reach the gates of the college ... The only way out was to keep the pace and pray to get out alive even at home.
One of the companions jumped on it, but missed a short distance. However, this was more than enough to make Raven stagger and almost fall. She rested a hand on the ground and resumed his balance.
- Do not do anything to hurt it, morons! She can not lose blood in vain!
She looked to her left hand, which was a cut and bleeding a little. Apparently, Ashley was really interested in her blood and the distance was not an ally at that time.
Another of followers jumped on her and this time he managed to shoot it. Ashley wore a harness to hold her ankles.
- Now you have no where to escape. There is nobody to help you.
- She is a Bloodluster, Ashley. Soon her master may appear.
- She denied being Axel's Bloodluster. She is helpless.
A lightning slashed the sky and the Ashley's whip was cut in half. Raven managed to break free and stand up, but did not run because he felt the presence of someone else in there and the wound on her hand was healing.
- Let's go. - Ashley growled, looking at the picture that was in the shadows.
Raven could see the turquoise color in the eyes of the guy who was there. It was Axel.
- Axel!
He did not look at her. Simply turned and disappeared into the shadows from which he had appeared.
She could not talk to him. So she followed the path back home, with new torments he would be angry or sad? Does Axel forgive her?

- Where have you been? I was worried!
- Nowhere.
- Well, at least you feel better?
   Raven looked at Kira.
- Kira, if you asked me that I always accompany you and I answered no, what would you do?
- Well, I understand. After all, I asked you a question and I do not forced you to do anything. You can choose what is best for you. But why did you ask me that?
- Just to know.
- I think you need a psychologist.
Raven gave a wry smile to hide the sadness for having listened to what Kira said. Perhaps it would help if she was dealing with a human. She looked at her hand, which should be wound.
Axel ...
