Prologue: Return to Home

 Sesshoumaru returned to the castle the next day knowing that he had a hidden strength that would only be released if he abandoned the feelings by humans. Kiara was extremely happy, ran to meet her husband and welcomed warmly. He, in turn, took the girl in his lap and spent the rest of the day with her, telling all his feats.

  But he did not tell about what really happened on the lake, he said Natsumi was defeated because he forgot the feelings for Kiara. It was still on his mind and refused to leave, leaving him a few sleepless nights thinking about the possibility Mermaid still alive.
- Sesshoumaru, honey, is something wrong?
- No, my dear, I'm just not sleepy.
- Those battles are still messing with you, is not it? Or is it the charm mermaid?

  He smiled at her and replied, leaning his face on top of her head:
- There is a mermaid charm, I'm just surprised that people I never saw before knowing much of my life.
- Never mind that, dear, if they know it's one more reason for you to show that you are not weak, you're extremely strong that I'm sure.
