♖ Four

A shadow passed through the bedroom window, where Axel and Raven were preparing to sleep in peace again.
- Did you see it?
- Yes.
The shadow turned and stood for a few seconds before the window. She was a tall person, belonging to a man who should have similar physical form to the shape of Axel. Something grew in his back symmetrically on the left and right side.
   Wings.
- Axel, what's that?
- I do not know, but I'll find out.
As Axel approached, the shadow moved away and took off as soon as he opened the window. The boy growled and leaped toward the major, but because of the strange possess wings, the situation became unbalanced. Raven looked up and saw a pair of wings in the direction of the roof and saw Axel turning inwards, with turquoise eyes with a disgruntled glare.
- You could see who it was?
- No, he escaped.
A black feather landed on the window. Raven held her and felt the velvet and soft texture, it was completely different from the plume of common animals. Additionally, the brightness of the object was intense and interestingly different, which completely discount the possibility that this was a raven feather or any other animal that had feathers.
Axel took off and sniffed intently, looking for something that was familiar, but found nothing that would indicate any known person.
- You know who is?
-. No. But it's not any kind of animal. Surely belong to some dark creature like vampires. I think you should be passing a messenger, nothing to worry about.
- That new intern has nothing to do with it?
-. No. He did not smell of any creature. It was just an ordinary human.
- I hope so.

   The winged figure
saved the wings  through a small cut that was in the back of the black overcoat and stood on the bridge, watching the reflection of the waning moon in the dam.
- Where have you been?
- Just went to make a short visit.
- You should not do this kind of provocation.
- I'm not worried about the consequences. Just want to point out that they are no longer alone. I want my entry to be remembered.
- What are you thinking?
- In anything great, although I deserve.
- Since I am relieved of this mission, come home, ok?
- I'll be fine, do not worry.
An evil smile blossomed on his face.
