⌘ Ⅶ. Take my pain away

Seemed made of pure and sweet honey that existed in that world. Clara could not look away from those golden eyes, which were now marked by bitterness and coldness of years that have passed. The inside of her was glad to see him and she also unconsciously without even knowing who it was. On the other hand, he did not seem to feel the same thing.
- What are you looking?
- My apologies. Is that you remind me of someone.
She did not remember him. Date felt even more embittered, even if it was not creating expectations. He could not believe that after all this time, the soul of the most precious person to him in the world do not even remember his name or who he was. It was not really something painful, because he did not want to have contact with the past again, even though times were different and there would be no more obstacles, but the time lost could not be recovered even open your heart now. Was better continue as I was and really hope that someday could join his beloved.
- Are you okay?
He did not reply. Not even looked at her before leaving. However, Clara felt that boy was not like that; those golden eyes did not show that all this coldness and gloom always existed. She followed him as fast as he could and hugged him, with his forehead resting on his back.
Date stiffened at once, but made no mention of push her away. He just stood still, waiting for her to pull away from him.
- Why are you doing this?
- This is my question; is not happy to see me, Date?
He exhaled with a deep sigh.
- Yes.'m Extremely happy.
- Then why are you ignoring me?
- Because this is not the real you. You may be controlling this girl, but nothing will make her become a picture of you. Let me go, it will be better for all of us.
- No!
Clara did not know why she was crying and even why he was hugging an unknown boy. However, she felt that her soul was being completely torn apart by his words.
Date of hands touched hers, but only so he could get rid of it. He did not want nor had more desire to stay close to the past. She was reluctant to let him go because he wanted to know more about it, can remember her past.
- Go away. This place will never belong to you.
With that he walked away without looking back even once. Clara ran to the opposite side, with blurred vision from the tears she tried to contain.
- Clara, what happened?
She slammed the door and locked it, before slipping into the cold wooden floor, where there was weeping and sobbing, without giving any attention to Veronica, who tried to enter the room at all costs.

- You should not have taken her there. You should not even have appeared in front of her.
The wolf was not satisfied with the conduct of Date, who was sitting with downcast expression on the branch of a tree. He did not know if he was shot by seeing who would not or if it was because so many have said harsh things to her. Even if it did not, the boy still felt fine and fragile her arms around him, but he could not afford to just hand it all over again to run the risk of losing it again. As much as I had willpower, he could never say that it was the same person as always.

⌘ Ⅵ. Our Destiny

Date lost serenity after seeing the face of one of the people who lived in his old house. Could not be her. She should not be. Anyway, it was not really that person, but almost all traits he saw hiding something from his dark past.
And not just that: after you left near the house, he started to feel bad, as if something inside him that was arrested was trying to get loose like a wild beast locked in a cage and that, at some point, would trying to escape. But why now? The past was dead to him, to do everything reborn?

His vision was interrupted by that same girl walking through the wheat fields. He followed her every step and saw that she was taking the same direction he was taking for years. Date saw the wolf away once she was taking the right path. Nobody should go there unless he. What was hidden between those fields should not be seen by anyone else.
He followed cautiously behind her, making no noise until she stopped before the place I should not go and looked around. Maybe she had noticed his presence?
She kept walking without even suspecting that she was being followed. Date had to be absolutely sure that the girl should have seen all because of that lobe, and therefore there was nothing to hide. He stopped following it and followed another path, but that ended in the same place.
As expected, she still had not arrived. For this reason, Date sat on the bank and took the red rose between his index finger and middle finger of the left do not, no matter the injuries that caused the thorns.

Despite being only the second time that Clara was one way she could feel something different around here. It was not just the feeling of being watched, but a wave of magnetism that controlled her movements, leaving the agitated and anxious subconscious. Her legs began to walk again as soon as he had in memory.

The next steps were, however most urgent and quick. It was as if she were anxious to get over there. Something in him had also changed, but Date paid no attention to any feeling that it could be born again. There was no one he could expect, all were dead and he was the only survivor thanks to that person. He closed his eyes to not think about her and only became aware that the company had not heard when the more hurried steps.
- I'm so sorry,. I did not know anyone was here.

She did not know anyone else knew about that place. She did not even know someone could have access to the garden and the fields of her mother's house and go unnoticed. Anyway, that guy awakened something deep in it, which made her soul stir.
He stood up, leaving the red rose on the floor and turning to face her. He eyes were closed, but traces of her face left her even more restless than he was. His appearance was extremely familiar but unfamiliar at the same time: the hair was similar to copper color, but could be mistaken for brown. He was tall, but that was not so important. The realmeente she wanted to see was hidden.
- No problem. I was just leaving.
That voice. It was like a sweet and gentle music to her ears, flowing like a sweet lullaby, despite the touch of apathy and rudeness.

He had more like cheating. Her voice was the same. Anyway, he still did not feel ready to see what was ahead of him. But he felt and knew she would never get out without looking at him.
He opened his eyes and saw what I did not want to see. It was as if he had returned to the past if not for the fact that girl's eyes were brown and not green as the person he really wanted to see. The amazement on her face was evident that it was not just that he did not expect that meeting.

⌘ Ⅴ. Looking for the past

Clara could not shake the image of those eyes the color of honey sad and afflicted. Even without knowing anything more that boy, just think in his shadow running through fields of wheat was enough for her to stir inside. Not even that garden, which before him was a source of infinite peace, was able to extinguish her suffering.
Not only was it that bothered her. Those clothes and her voice were not really hers. Even the feelings. Everything was very real, but not really coming from inside. Came from a place that was connected to it, but it belonged to another person. Anyway, it was a complex thing so that they could express in words. There is no way to translate a feeling like that.
She said nothing about it to Veronica, knowing it could be classified as insane or something.

The day was overcast, but nothing would come out of that garden Clara without having processed all that information before and without finding a solution to that. Who was that guy? What was the connection between him and what was inside it?
Before she could think, she saw that same wolf approaching her and, with the muzzle down, stopped halfway, waiting for her to get up and follow him.
She did so, after looking back and make sure she was alone. They walked to the wheat fields there and the wolf took the girl to a spot where it had completely dried blood, which not even the rain could wash. Clara reached down and felt the same pain in the chest. It was not a dream. Has a memory.
- Why did you bring me here?
Of course the wolf did not yield any response, only growled softly, distancing her even disappear completely without leaving any trace. She did not care to be alone there, but because everything is happening to her now. So long ago it came and went in this house and there was nothing manifested. What was different now?
Clara stood up, doing his best to remember the way he saw that shadow go before receiving the shot that soldier. He could not, however, something had a magnetic effect on her and led her forward, then left until it arrived at a river, whose waters reflected the serene sky apathetic. There was an extremely red rose on the bank, which, incidentally, was very well preserved, as if there not long ago. She did not catch the flower, as had many sharp thorns.
Unconsciously, she continued moving forward and made her way back to the cottage. Clara had written that way in memory and so return there if something happened again.

⌘ Ⅳ. Nothing is real

Date was not there to see the change of the girl. Breathing, which was previously serene and regular, was accelerated and the expression of tranquility had turned into fear and pain.

I do not know where I was until that whole fog disappear and the sun's rays begin to touch the ground.
That was the garden of the cottage from my mom and also my favorite place. Everything was exactly the same, but I do not know why I was there. I do not remember having stale or coming here, but only because I was not there made me quiet. Be there as I have been here at least was at some known place. The breeze was soft, making the flowers sway gently and wheat fields danced with grace and subtlety.
I looked at myself. Surely those clothes were not mine. I was wearing a dress that reached to his knees in lilac with a violet silk ribbon around my waist. Simple sneakers in the same color of the dress were on my feet, but I had absolutely sure that none of it was mine.
While I was busy looking for my clothes, I did not realize that the sky was tinged with a mixture of orange and red, indicating that it would soon dusk. That to me was not being normal because there is less than five minutes the morning sun was shining through there.
Involuntarily, my gaze was directed to the wheat fields of attentive way, as if looking for something. Soon, I could see a figure moving through the wheat and slightly behind him some horses and men with guns ready to shoot in that shade.
My heart sank and my legs began to move slightly to the fields. I did not remember to run as fast that way and have legs as sturdy. Anyway, something in my subconscious telling me that I should reach the figure that was being pursued before it was too late. I wondered what it would affect me, however, something inside me chided me for my thoughts. All that my subconscious wanted was to get to that figure.
I started not to think, but to run. Whatever was happening, it was just a dream, nothing could happen to me really.
As we got closer, I could see that that figure was actually a boy, but I could not see how right he was. The only thing I know is that it was quick. Extremely fast. Anyway, he could not escape the soldiers who shot repeatedly.
Used the maximum speed that the adrenaline allowed me and I was close to achieving them. The soldier who was later prepared the gun for another shot.
- Do not! - The scream escaped my mouth. Not exactly my voice, but it was possible to find some resemblance.
The gun was pointed at me and the soldier shot in a split second. My gaze, even after being hit in the chest and feel excruciating pain, I could only care about that boy, who was far away but looking in my direction, with hazel eyes fighting back tears. My vision blurred and I could not see his face completely.

She woke up with moist eyes and feeling a strong chest pain. Why be just a dream, all the sensations were very real. The girl wanted to think that none of it was real, it was all just a weird dream, but could not. There was something beyond and deeper. Whatever was in her subconscious was waking and Clara felt she wanted to know what happened to that boy, how his life ended in the end. Who was that girl who was in it? What kind of connection they have?

⌘Ⅲ. The wounds are hidden

They say that the world is constantly changing, but the truth is that everything remains the same. Houses, buildings, all have the same shape, the same grounds. People change place, but do not bother to change the place to create something new for the future. They prefer to live in the past forever.
Date Collins thought the opposite of all that. He wanted to advance the time as best he could. For him, the past was like a dead weight on his back and needed to disappear. Anyway, the boy knew he could not get rid of the ghost that haunted him. Date not believe in ghosts or anything related to dead people still among the living, however no doubt that the destination was traced by their influence.
He heard a deep howl near the wheat fields. same lobe that day still wandered up there, as he and the house, which was still kept for no reason. In his mind, that place should have been destroyed and not kept as he remembered those years, after all, Date could not enter that house by a promise he made to himself after seeing one his dearest die so he could disappear from those fields. Anyway, he was there again; lost and lonely.

Sitting among the flowers, the memories began to invade his mind without asking permission. He was determined to forget, but so far failed to do so completely.
A wolf came toward him, pulling him by the shirt so that he was standing.
- What do you want?
The wolf growled and looked out a window. Date followed the gaze of the wolf and saw the figure of a person. The anatomy of the shadow, was granted the fact that it was a woman, but age was impossible to tell. The boy was approaching cautiously and the room lights were turned off. Yes, he remembered that room. It was the room he shared with his younger sister since I had moved here. However, now that room was no longer his. Was an invasive girl, who surely did not know half the story of the place and even how valuable that house was not only for him but for a part of the history of that city.
He slowly opened the window and could see the person who was sleeping in the room, which was completely modified. Was a young girl of no more than nineteen years with copper hair slightly wavy which should be of medium size. She was turned back to him and this prevented him could see her face. Anyway, Date could see that the girl was small and frail, as if you could break it just by getting watching her.
For more rancor he felt that she occupied a room that was before him, the boy could not get tired of watching her. Something about her was familiar, but could not recognize Date precisely what this thing was, nor whom he remembered, but it sure was someone close to him and that was making him feel protective instinct for the strange. He looked at her, looking for anything that might give a clue.
The girl moved in bed for a while, until you sleep peacefully with his face to the window, allowing the peaceful Date seeing features that filled her face. His breathing was regular, almost imperceptible, but it was not a concern. He had seen a person who had this type of breathing before.
- You brought me here to let me know that?
The wolf nodded and disappeared by wheat fields again. Date took one last look at the girl and closed the window again, pulling away with their certainties about the souls of people who had already left this world. It would even be possible idea they come back as another person? No, that was just a coincidence and there was nothing to think. Maybe that wolf was wrong. Or maybe not. The color of her hair, the frail physique, the smooth breathing ... He knew everything he knew more than himself. Since she was three years old the boy had seen it all. Coincidence might not be so perfect that way, which can be able to make his heart beat otherwise.

⌘ Ⅱ. Back to Glasgow

Clara Chancelay was finishing her last carry luggage to the car. It was March, then spending time in her mother's house in Glasgow and back olny in May. Her parents had separated three years ago, but peacefully because of their employment. That way, she could have the same relationship with the two without fear of anything.

Veronica Chancelay lived in the capital, but when vacationing liked to pass them on their home field next to Clara, who would visit them every year.
- Welcome, daughter.
- Finally got.
Clara received help from mother to carry the bags to her room, which always continued the same way: the curtains were light cream color, as well as the sheets. The bed and the wardrobes were made of ivory and had a desk near the bed with some books she liked to read while there.
However, there were two things that left the girl fascinated and happy to be in that house: the first is that house, however that does not look like he was there for over eighty years. Her mother said she lived a couple of brothers and their parents on the spot. However, it is not known what happened and the family just disappeared.
The second thing, therefore the most important to her was that he had an extensive garden in the back and a wheat field not far from there. Had some limited types of flowers such as daisies and dandelions, but for Clara diversity of flowers not important but the fact that this place gave her welfare and she was there pretty much all day. Veronica was inside the house, most of the time resting routine that had pulled the work and so was permanent peace between them.
The breeze was blowing nice: neither cold nor hot. The clouds passed lazily across the sky, which was already taking the orange cast of twilight. For her extremely satistatório be there while waiting for the call from the college. While preparing to take a big step in her life, flowers and peace garden that helped her to think about the future clearly and accurately.
Clara thought she saw a shadow in the wheat fields, but various animals passed the night there, so that was no reason for her to worry about.
Already had arrived the night before she knew it and it made her back into the house, where Veronica was making dinner.
A nose starts sniffing her leg. It was a medium sized wolf, with black and the even darker eyes. The animal howled for a while and sped off through the fields of wheat.

⌘ Ⅰ. A simple Fragrance

The fragile flowers sway in the wind in the garden. A person walks stealthily among fields of wheat not far from there. She was a tall and slender shadow, which was not seen by anyone. Wheats were moving shadow as he ran.
He was panting. Had run several miles from where his house was. He had nothing: no water, no food; was absolutely alone and without anything to survive. However, the sound of trotting horses were coming and somehow he could go there. From now on, would have to leave the city, the family, even your own name.
- Do not let it get away!
The soldiers stop the horses and prepared their weapons to shoot the boy who was running away at full speed.
- No!
The shooting took another course and the boy looked back for a moment, but chose not to have it done. Tears formed and left his vision a bit blurred, but no way he could go back to see her. Anyway, he felt increasingly grudge for all the inhabitants of that place and this motivated the boy to go away. Now that Demetria was no longer alive, he definitely had not left anything behind. That girl was the only thing that was left to him, but now there was no reason for him to return to that place.

The night had just arrived. He was already out of the clutches of the soldiers and that city. Finally free, but lonely forever. What would from now? The boy could no longer fulfill his promise. The only thing he had left was now taking a new turn, start a new life in a place far away from all the memories, after all, it is never too late to start.
The howl of a lone wolf eccou not far from it, as well as the steps of the animal that were close. Anyway, he did not come out of there. The boy sat on the riverbank, looking at the reflection of the full moon in the water. The scent of flowers filled the air, making him remember things he did not want. Everything had in his mind the image of Demetria and she should be in the lowest depths of his memories, which should not be reached.
He picked a flower and tossed it in the river so that, somehow, she knew he was thinking about her right now and would try to still keep his promise, even if he had not any sense to continue with that.

☓ 14. I should say goodbye, shouldn't I?

Had already received a letter back a few days later and, to her surprise, Kristie was admitted to Cambridge. Anyway, it generated a huge doubt in her, even after putting all thoughts in order as she wanted. During these days, she thought she had finally managed to find a course in your life, however it was all an illusion.
- Why are you with this expression? Not what you wanted? ... Needless to respond.
Dakota knew what she was thinking just by looking at her profile. The girl could not hide what she felt and thought and he knew that sometimes she forgot his presence there.
- What is your question? You said you would start thinking on their own.
- Not that I'm thinking.
- So what?
Kristie was reluctant to say what they did not want to accept. As much as she had heard Dakota say that thousands of times, it just happened. Yes, she had overused analgesics to escape pain.
- Dakota, this would be the time that I should say goodbye, should not it?
- Yes, you are ready to proceed alone.
She did not want to hear this, not now. She could bear the thought of losing Aiden, but now a new born in her wound. Kristie did not want Dakota and Alexy go away.
- What happened?
- What happens when a person other painkillers?
- Kristie, I really do not believe it. After so many times that I talked about it?
- I did not know that! I also thought I had overcome all that could finally have my life back, but I can not, Dakota! The only reason I have "outgrown" it was because you were always here and now it makes me feel dependent on you.
- I can not stay.
- Why not?
- Have you forgotten who I am? How do you think I'll get my wings and hide my personality? Everyone must remain in the world to which it belongs.
He was right. But what would she do then? She could go to Cambridge, but would be displaced and lost. Making friends was only a matter of time, that she knew very well, but ...
But? What was the other objection? There was no other reason.
Dakota saw that she was feeling helpless before the moment. However, he could not stay.
- I have to go, sorry. You can already take care of herself alone.
The firm hand of Dakota was on her shoulder, offering support. She looked directly into his eyes.
- I trust you. Cambridge will be nothing too.
- I'll try.
 The demon smiled, satisfied.

Kristie followed him to the back of her house, where there was a small garden. She knelt on the floor and hugged Alexy strongly. Even being just an animal and unable to talk to her, the white tiger was important in her recovery. The animal licked her face in response, wiping the tears that were streaming.
- I will miss you, Alexy.
Tiger responded with a soft growl and walked towards Dakota. The girl got up and went to him.
- I really have not thank you for helping me.
- I just following orders.
-. No. You gave me back my life.
- I did not do anything but show you the way. I'm glad you trusted me.
She lowered her head, and he had nothing more to say. He also remained silent.
- So that's it.
- Yes. Everything has to end sometime.
Kristie hugged the boy had not before this opportunity. He returned, tightening the hug more than the other times.
- This is no time to cry.
- I can not stop it.
- I guess I should have taught you to be tougher.
She laughed and walked away from him, feeling a little embarrassed by excessive proximity.
- If you need me, do not hesitate to call me.
- OK.
Dakota wiped a tear from her face.
- You grew up so faster. I will always cheer for you ... Well, gotta go.
- I'll see you again?
- Maybe. But I don't want to see you depressed anymore.
- You will not see.
She saw a smile on the face of the devil while he was beating her wings toward the roof of her house and followed nimbly from one house to another until out of sight. A breeze blew in her direction, causing the tears go away. It was not goodbye, she told herself.

We all have obstacles, but if anyone extend the hand to you, do not ignore. Sometimes our greatest painkiller is with the unexpected people, in the most common actions. - Dakota Hellsing.

☓ 13. It's now or never

Kristie had exactly one week to choose it would go to Oxford or throw the chance for change her life completely out. The classes's going to begin in nine days, but had a week to find somewhere to live to stay near there. A part inside was eager to start preparing everything, but the other part - that was dominant over her actions - did not want to abandon everything that was here, did not want to abandon the last memories I have of Aiden, after all, everything they spent together happened in this city, where they were born and grew until now.
- What would you do?
- Me? - The question caught him off guard.
- Yes, what you would do if you were me?
- I would take all my bags and would call all the hostels, pensions or anything like that to stay closer to the college. Even losing someone important, I have to think about me, after all I'm still alive and I have to live every second of my life as if it were your last.
- Even if that would make you stay away from all your memories?
- I would not stay away from the memories because they are all stored here. - He touched the head Krisite - No matter the place where I go, the memories go with me.
She lowered her head. He made everything look so easy, however when you put it into actual practice, the thing is not as simple as it sounds. The fact that her parents are out of town hindered the situation even more, since she did not know exactly when they would return. Until then, may sesr that the term has ended.
- I can stand here talking nonstop about my motives, but what I think is different than you think, right? So you have to think about your reasons to go or stay. After all, is not I who will have to stay, on average, four years somewhere to learn something.
- I do not know what to do; all I did so far was because of Aiden.
- The problem is exactly this point: his entire sentence or phrase almost all your have to involve Aiden. You have to put that aside and start thinking more about you, I'm tired of repeating this. Who has to know what is good or bad for you are just yourself. No one should decide for you.
She said nothing, absorbing completely sincere and true words of Dakota, whose voice carried tiredness, but a touch of softness at having to repeat the same thing without stopping numerous times for a stubborn person like her. Kristie knew that always behaved like a robot when it came to making decisions: she did not think, just did what others would send the fear of losing them.
- Kristie, it's now or never. The decision of your entire life from now on is entirely in your hands. You do not have much time to think about the matter, I do not think I need to say this.
- I know that. You do not need to remind me.
- I see that you are improving gradually, however, could improve even more if you wanted to, of course. I see that you are not a person living in pain and depression, but you are following a path of thorns because you yourself want it. I'm trying tirelessly to show you the shortcuts, but you do not want to follow them. Would you rather continue being hurt by thorns increasing.
- Maybe because I've gotten used to pain.
-. No. No one can ever get used to pain, however small it may be. However, I can not stand forcing you to do anything. My job is simply to help you see the available paths and guide you about each of them. Not for me to say which is the right one for you.
Kristie looked at the envelope that was on the desk that seemed to beg for a quick decision. Aiden had recommended it to her, but what Dakota said pounding on her mind. Yes, she knew she would have to make a decision. Oxford had always been his biggest dream, however, she had received calls from other universities not long ago and yet many universities were accepting applications. She took a list from inside the drawer and looked at the last names that were on base.
Her name stopped on the last name, which was written off byherself on the last day of class. At that time, she never imagined she would enroll at that university, who also had great prestige, however, was not one where Aiden was. She kept the letter and the list of Oxford in the drawer.
- What are you thinking of doing?
- I've made a decision.
- And what would it be? You put the letter in the drawer.
- I'm not going to Oxford.
She thought she saw a hint of disappointment in the eyes of Dakota, but he did not show very well.
- I still have time to try to join the University of Cambridge.
His expression was confused, with a mixture of pride.
- Why this decision now?
- I guess I have to start taking care of myself. Oxford was not really my dream, but attending the same university that Aiden would attend. Now he ... Now that he is no longer here, I'll try to look for other places where I've never been yet. Cambridge is my last chance.
- What are you waiting for then? Your time is coming to an end.
Aiden would be proud to see that she was beginning to take its own steps after nearly two months immersed in loneliness and depression. Gradually Dakota saw that his work was beginning to reach the end of the way he was expecting. View Kristie walking around the house looking for papers was gratifying because all he was doing was working. Without her noticing, everything would return to normal.
- Where are you going?
- I have to take it to the post office, do not you think? Letters are not sent alone.
- Need some company?
- I'll be fine. I take care of myself.
- Finally you are growing.
- All this for you three never gave up on me.
- None of us did anything. You took the first step to heal, which is to accept help. A person can not change the other, unless the person wants to be changed.
- Do not waste time, go to deliver this letter.
She ran up the stairs and shut the door quickly. The window, Dakota could see the girl running with the letter in her hands and a hopeful smile on her face. Every step she took, the more he felt that his work was coming to an end. Krisite was ready for the world again, just as requested.

☓ 12. Find your way

Aiden could not even resist the magnetism between them. Kristie had launched against him without wondering the following consequences and his arms closed around her mechanically, as if they were just there to perform that task.
- It will not be good for you to be near me.
- Why can not you come back?
He laughed for a moment. A question like that did not need an answer.
- Aiden, I can not stay here?
- No you can not. That's just an illusion that I finished to create to talk to you.
- It does not matter.
- Yes, that's what matters most - Aiden pulled away and held her shoulders with softness and firmness at the same time - I want you at home in Oxford, as was our dream.
- Yes, it was OUR dream. Now that you are no longer with me, part of that dream is dead.
- You should not be. You will not throw it all away because of a reckless driver who caused all this. I asked you to help Dakota and that is what he will do.
- I know that. - She replied with a sigh.
Aiden also did not conform to the idea of leaving her alone in the human world of truth, but he did not remain there forever and could not let her away from everything and everyone to stay with him. Krisite had stopped crying, but his expression downcast these days still there.
- I wanna see you move on and find your way.
 She did not answer.
- Kris, can I ask you something?
- Whatever you want.
- I want you to think of me kindly and with no pain. Find someone who can take care of you now I can not anymore. When I look at you again, I want to see her happy with a better person than me. - She opened her mouth to protest, but he stopped - All I want is your happiness. When you get into Oxford you'll meet guys with more potential than me.
- I will not. You were the most perfect human being existed.
- Well now you must find a replacement. Think of me as a first love, a last but not by which you must die. If you still remember me, I want you to give my name to his son.
Krisite felt like kicking him, but could not do anything to hurt him. However, do not want to have to listen to those absurdities. She could not imagine being married to another man and still raising a child with the same name Aiden.
- You are ridiculous.
- It is a shame that will not continue to be so.
He hugged her again, but with the feeling that she was expecting and I was finally getting. The boy kissed her not to let her see that everything around was disappearing.

- I hope you're happy with it.
Kristie was back to the painful and real world. Dakota was sitting in the window, as always, and Alexy was lying on the bedroom carpet. The two were bored with expressions, looking like they were waiting for her to come back for all this time. She rose from the bed and found that was fading and her face was wet with tears.
- If contains, so you were asleep for two whole days.
- Two days? But ...
- To you it may have seemed two hours, but it was actually much more than that.
The time was not interested with Aiden. What really weighed in it was the time that she would be without it.
- What you have to say?
- I'm sorry for making you disobey the order of Aiden. He also was not happy.
- That's it?
- And what else do you expect?
- A decision.
- I am not in a position to decide anything.
 Dakota sighed heavily.
- I could be in charge of taking care of you, but I do not recall being instructed to do so for the rest of your life.
- Of my life?
- I am immortal and you do not. In this case, I'm stuck until you get over it. You have to find a way.
- Aiden told me the same thing.
- So why not start doing it now?
Krisite decided not to answer. For it was easy to say that, since he certainly never should have felt the pain of losing someone so tragically. Anyway, that was exactly what was weighing on her mind, but the whole conversation she had with Aiden. Was being difficult for her to process all the information obtained. Had much to think about.
- By the way, this came for you.
Dakota handed her an envelope with the seal of the University of Oxford. Her hands trembled for the answer that could be in that envelope. As if taking a bandage, she opened the letter and read only the first two lines, which already contained the answer she needed.
- What does it say?
- They approved me.
- That's good, is not it?
- I know nothing more. For a time, it was always my dream to join there. Aiden was already enrolled and now if he were here we could finish our dream together.
- Now it's up to you to finish it.
- But that no longer has any meaning.
- What do Aiden?
It was as if the two were conspiring against her. All that Aiden had spoken to her Dakota was repeating this instant, as if they were doing everything so that everything is fixasse in her mind. Kristie knew the answer to that question.
- He would continue.
- Then why do not you do the same? Its star could be the most brilliant of all, however you insist on putting a cloud to prevent your shine.

☓ 11. You were born to light up the world

Dakota knew there was more to do with it indoors. This time, even with the rain, he would take it to the intended location. The process of overcoming only be completed with this last lesson. However, it had been a long time since Kristie was sleeping and it was not normal. It was already ten o'clock in the morning and usually at this time it is more than awake and walking from one side to the other in the bedroom. Anyway, he did not want to wake her.
Alexy was also getting restless. Both exchanged a long and thoughtful look.
- Alexy, you know what to do.
The tiger took a few steps back enough to pick up momentum and jump on the girl in bed. There was no reaction on her part and that made them even more uneasy. The animal sniffed her face and came toward Dakota fast as lightning and pulled him by the sleeve of his overcoat to where the girl was.
- What is the problem?
Alexy looked at the cup of tea that was on the desk. The boy took it, but there was nothing different. The tiger sniffed the cup and snarled at the demon, decided to smell the contents of the cup.
- If I could, I would break this cup in her head right now. We can not call an ambulance until here, then we will have to improvise.
Tiger brought an empty bowl for Dakota, which went to the bathroom and filled the container with cold tap water and put something that was in his coat into the bowl.
- You are out of line.
- That does not give you the right to do this!
Kristie Ludenberg say that was wet was little. Dakota was not one that was extremely kind to her while playing all the water from the bowl on the girl's face.
- No use talking to you, is not it? First a knife and poison now? What will be the next instrument of suicide?
- I was tempted, but ...
- There is no excuse for this! - Dakota growled impatiently - If you really had the least love for Aiden, would be giving it their all to get over it.
Kristie did not answer, because there were not enough words to confront him. It was like a blow to the head.
- He will not like hearing this, but you will understand who is with him.

Dakota was not there and Alexy had also gone. She was still in the room, but the atmosphere was different. It was as if the accident had never happened in his life. It was as if she had never met the devil and the white tiger.
- Kristie!
It was the voice of her mother. But how? They would return only at the end of the month.
- Kristie!
She turned down the stairs and clearly saw his mother in the kitchen and his father watching television in the living room. He looked at the girl.
- There's someone waiting for you at the door.
Kristie knew who it was, but could not believe it. Anyway, she was not controlling his actions. Even without confidence, she ran to the door and when it opened, he saw exactly who imagined.
- Aiden!
The embrace was unrequited. Aiden closed the door and looked at her seriously.
- Come with me.
The two walked in silence until they were removed from her home. She, dissatisfied with his reaction, was the first to say something.
- What happened?
- Do not start with that question. You know what this is all fake.
- Are you saying that Dakota did it?
- Yes, but he did know it should not.
Even making sure everything now, she could not believe Aiden coldness towards her. All this time she was suffering and now he could see it, nothing was happening as she wanted.
He was silent. The boy was still in the same clothes from the day of the accident, but there was no match any wound. He was untouched by being a soul, he could still be played. This was one more reason for her to feel even more empty than when he was away from his presence. Aiden could see it clearly and felt for not being able to touch her, but what she did was totally inexcusable. He had asked for someone to look after her and she was playing all the worry out of it.
- Aiden, what's going on? Why are you doing this to me?
- Know that you tried to take her own life twice is more painful to me than what you are feeling. I can not hug you knowing that when it ends you will get even worse.
The crying clutching her throat as he moved away from her when she tried to touch him.
- Kris, you were born to enlighten the world. I always loved that about you; you were always bright and cheerful and I never thought I'd see you going into a depression like that.
- You live the same way if I had died?
- No, but think of you fondly. I think of how you were, how you could shake the sadness so quickly. Why you know from babies, I would be eternally empty, but always trying to keep up.
He touched her just to wipe the tears from her eyes. Feel firm and delicate hand him over it again brought back the feeling of being loved and protected. Kristie felt like a nail near a magnet.

☓ 10. Could the rain washes my guilty?

Again, to thwart the boy began to rain. That way, he could not take Kristie somewhere.
Looking around, he realized that Dakota could start working with her mind even at that moment, without having to go anywhere. He opened her wardrobe and pulled out a purple box made of wood. The girl knew that box.
- What you think you're doing?
- Trying to take the blame for this his hard head.
- I did not authorize him to mess with my stuff.
- I'm not asking permission.
Kristie tried to take the box out of his hands, but failed. The demon was fast because of the wings and the white tiger cooperated with him, leaving the unbalanced situation. She went to the window, where the rain drops falling on her face like tears.
- If you think you will get this window the rest of the day, you're wrong. Come here.
She turned to face him and saw that all the photos were arranged on the floor around Dakota, who was sitting on the carpet looking at everything with some interest.
- I do not want to see any of it.
- And I do not want to see Aiden, am I right?
- How can I trust you?
   Dakota squinted offended explicitly.
- I may be a demon, but I do not lie.
- I did not want to offend you.
- It does not matter. If you want Aiden pass to another world entirely, you need to see him and show him that you know will take care of herself, who will know how to live even after losing it.
She looked at one of the numerous photos of Aiden, however, that she was looking at was the most special of all. It was the only picture I managed to take him Kristie while it was sleeping. The strands of hair on the face, sweet smile on his lips that he had been told so many things that made her smile and serene expression ... Yes, he was the most perfect human being in the world but he was now dead; he was decomposing under the cold earth because of it and think about it looking at that picture of him made her want to go down to the kitchen again and desperately use that knife against life itself.
- I want you to look at all like I had to tell this to his child; how you met, the friendship that you had ... Do not miss absolutely nothing and does not stop talking, even if I end up sleeping during history.
Kristie sat down and looked at picture by picture. Where should start? Since she knew as a human being Aiden had been with her, even in the early times when they are not so sympathetic. She did not want to say anything about that. The only image that mattered was that precious vision from his sleep. The pain of not being able to touch him through that photography was intense, as if they had torn something inside her.
- I have nothing to say about it. All I really meant it should be for Aiden, but now he is no longer here.
Dakota was observing her expression. There was no sign of tears and crying no expression, just a sad look, which accompanied the pain in her voice, which was acceptable. Even without realizing it, she was gradually progressing, but it could be faster from now. It need not take it all over the city, however, she should spend more time at the cemetery. If she was really going strong, back to his grave would be a big test for her strength. However, he knew that her nerves were still fragile and that she could go back to using a knife against herself, even after all the recommendations.
- Why are you looking at me as if I were a bomb about to explode?
- Because you ARE a bomb about to explode. I guarantee you will not be using a knife again.

☓ 9. Ruins

Dakota saw no change in the conduct of the girl after they had both gone to the crash site. However, she seemed to have lost his voice, since hardly opened his mouth to say something. Kristie wandered through the house like a ghost, and the fact of being alone because parents were traveling did not help much. The only companies it were him and the white tiger.
- Hey, what's your problem?
- I am fine.
- It's not like you go without talking this way.
- Just do not have anything to say.
He did not insist, because he knew that could complicate things further. Even sitting in the window, the demon could see that everything was a troubled, however did not know exactly if it was the sight of the accident scene or was she received calls from friends who saw her walking down the street with him. Could not be futile as that. The reason of this was something bigger and therefore decided to postpone the walk them to the airport because he knew where it was the site of the wound that hurt most.
Kristie left the room without saying anything, not even looked at him. Alexy made a sound that Dakota knew. He could not leave her alone and that girl would be capable of committing a great folly.
- Alexy, you think we can trust the sanity of it?
Tiger shook his head. If even Alexy was suspicious of her, then he should interfirir and set limits on her behavior. He left the window and followed the tiger, which smelled something in the air.
They had left the room and were in the room when Dakota also managed to capture the scent of blood. The animal dashed off to the kitchen with the devil ago.

The something metal falls to the ground, followed by the sound of a body being overthrown. The boy knew that the tiger had managed to contain it, but what was really worried to see the extent of the damage.
Kristie was lying facedown on the floor with Alexy on her. There was a small trail of blood and fallen in the same place where it all must have happened knife. She had cut off his right forearm that was releasing blood wantonly. Seeing the boy, the tiger went cautiously up the girl. She stood, with a few tears running down his cheeks.
- If it hurts so much, why do it?
- I'm not crying for the pain, you know that very well. Besides, who said you could explore my house like that?
Dakota managed to heal the cut Kristie, but still had not answered her question.
- Try to commit suicide is not a way to find Aiden. His soul would be wandering here on earth without rest until the day of his actual death. Until then, Aiden will not be proud to see you.
- How do you know? - She growled - You do not even know.
- If I did not know, would not be here taking care of you.
   Her expression changed dramatically.
- It's exactly what you are thinking. Aiden got to have one last contact with me before he died. He asked me to look after you and make her stop blaming yourself, stop suffering so much because of it.
Dakota put the dirty knife blood in the sink. Tap water was causing the blood to disappear gradually.
- If you are suffering, I want to help you. I'm here for. If you do not strive, you can not see it.
- I can still see it?
- Maybe. But it depends on your attitude from now. I will not say which one is the right one. Who has to know it is you. I have the power to make you see Aiden again, but only when my work is finished. While you are immersed in the ruins, nothing new can flourish.

☓ 8. Don't think, just forget

Kristie was starting to get impatient. They were walking for over half an hour and yet Dakota gave no sign of where they were going. However, there was something between him and an accomplice Alexy, since from time to time exchanged furtive glances that suggested something suspicious.
- Dakota, please either tell me where we're going? I do not want anyone else find the way.
- Stop it, okay? Also, you do not know this place?
She looked around. Something was vaguely familiar, but couldn't recognize completely. The girl knew he had gone through a time or two there, however, after everything that happened, his memory was not good.
- Do not.
- Then you will wait. We are almost close.
Alexy began to sniff the ground intently and rushed the feline steps down the sidewalk. Crossed the road and finally stopped on the other side, looking anxiously Dakota.
- Do you mean that there are still remnants?
- Remnants of what?
- You will now see.
They were joined by Alexy and saw the girl who had pieces of glass at the curb and a few drops of blood dried later. Dakota cautiously analyzed the expression of it, which to date was the same.
Kristie's eyes searched the buildings, the street, and everything was there. She looked once more for glass and blood to understand where he was and what was aquillo. His body began to ache at once and all that happened in the accident flooded her mind, allowing you to review everything that has happened since the accident until Aiden in bed emergency ward, completely dead.
- Why did you bring me here? Dakota, you said I should not forget what happened?
- Yes, you should. However, to forget you have to face the places where it all happened. I tried to find the memories in your mind, but you could hide them very well. So I did not see another way.
   Her eyes filled with tears.
- You have to see it and try to overcome.
- How? Only the broken glass are enough to make me remember everything. Just the fact of the airport there reminds me of everything!
- Do you remember because you think about it all the time. Do not think, just forget it all. Let your mind work to store it in a place you will not be able to reach in the foreground.
- You're telling me to forget everything? To forget Aiden?
No. I'm telling you do not need to suffer as you are now.
She stopped the tears. Stared at the remnants of the accident, trying not to think about what they really meant to her. This was necessary, and that she was sure that Dakota did not need to tell you. However, it was not going through that street that she could overcome that.
- Come, let's go home. It will not do to take it all over town today. Let's start one step at a time.
- Do not end up here?
- Of course not. The root of the problem is not here, you know better than me.

☓ 7. In the streets again

Dakota had left two hours ago with Alexy in his pursuit. She did not know why the change of it being so sudden like that behavior, but could not intrude on his intentions. After all, one way or another, all he did was try to help her get better. She sat on the bed, waiting for some sign of their return. Had showered and was staring at the window.
Alexy was the first to arrive, jumping the bedroom window with feline grace as ever, but there was something in that movement which portrayed a touch of extreme happiness. He approached Kristie and grabbed her by the shirt bar, pulling her towards the wardrobe.
- Alexy, what are you doing? There is nothing in my wardrobe!
The tiger gave a stubborn snarl.
- What's going on with you two today?
- Put on your best clothes, going out for a stroll in the city.
- What? Dakota, I'm not inspired me to leave the house yet.
The demon was jumping the window when grimaced in disapproval.
- And the way you are, I'm sure you'll never get out of in this house. I give you ten minutes to get ready and not a second more.
- You expect me to go through the company with you? What will they think of me?
- This does not concern anyone. Are you going out for some fresh air even if it is like this.
She looked down at herself. Was with a set of pants and blouse lilac pajamas made of flannel and leave like that would be shameful. Knowing Dakota and his indomitable spirit, he was sure he could not win if you make a negaciação with him. On the contrary, would lose more.
The boy left the room, pointing at the clock on her nightstand.
- Only ten minutes.
Wasting no time, she began to scour the wardrobe quickly, looking for something that, even accounting for her grief by Aiden, could be used to exit causally by whatever where they were.
The ten minutes passed quickly. Dakota came in, as he promised he would do and grimaced soon to see the outfit she was wearing.
- What happened?
- For you will still be shaken not force her to change, but do not want to wear clothes that they can remember mourning.
   She looked critically Dakota's attire.
- It will be difficult not remember mourning. You even seem to be ready to be placed in a coffin.
- I will not dress like a clown to get it out of your head. His duty is to see the black color as a any color. If you want to see something in black, just look elegance.
Alexy was in the window, ready to go.
- And it will be alright if Alexy join us?
- Yes. People will not see nothing less than a black white domestic cat with us and there to worry about.

  --------

Kristie didn't know the streets of their own city. Been locked in your house for so long that only had vague memories of those streets. The shops she frequented most were still there, but she did not dare enter. Do not know what to say to anyone, nor how to explain the company of Dakota without others thought he was her boyfriend.
She followed Dakota, not knowing where he was aindo. Alexy was walking in front, his catlike grace of apparent tiger. However, the people passing in the street made no expression of fear or terror, was exactly like Dakota had said.
- Dakota, where exactly are we going?
- It's a surprise, I can not tell you.
- Stop it, okay? Still do not feel comfortable walking the streets as well.
- You should be - his gaze strayed to the other side of the sidewalk - have two people watching us.
Kristie looked away immediately and saw her two best friends with expressions of astonishment. The girl held the hand of Dakota and pulled him away from there as fast as I could, feeling embarrassed to be seen in the street with another boy. She could never explain the situation convincingly.
- Be calm.
- How? When we get home I will not have peace.
- Do not think about it. Your surprise is coming.
