Epilogue- Saved Life

On the soft green grass camp, rested the bodies of Kenshin and Yume, who admired the sky and the landscape around them. Both were happy, but knew they would not be together for long, for the life of Yume was told and limited to ten minutes, nothing more.
Sesshoumaru passed through the garden, without looking at them, turning to the exit gate. Kenshin saw the youkai withdrew, however said nothing, only with eyes followed the departure of his father, whose wrist was still oozing blood and venom, staining the kimono youkai of Osaka.
- Father! - Shouted the boy, before Sesshoumaru disappeared from sight.

The youkai returned to the floor after he had made the cut heal the wrist because he did not want Kenshin saw what he had done. However, it was too late for the wounds were healed.
- Thank you for saving the life of Yume.

Sesshomaru did not answer, just looked into the eyes of his son a few seconds and went back to the air. Even without a concrete answer, Kenshin knew deep down what Sesshoumaru meant was a simple but significant "can always count on me."

When Yume's life was about to become extinct, Miyoko shown her the bottle with the poison of Sesshoumaru to the girl drank. By absorbing the poison of white dog, the youki of Taisen was slowly fading from her body, leaving the girl unconscious and pale, sweating and cold hands increasingly frosty. Given that situation, Kenshin feared the girl's death, thinking that the poison of his father could have increased the power of death that could cause poison Leopard.
However, she was recovering and getting stronger. Besides strength, the girl gained immortality and intelligence Sesshoumaru, like a daughter, when in reality it was not. Along with the new talents, the old memory and it returned the lands of Arioto and Nishimura joined as one, transforming the union of Kenshin and Yume in a powerful alliance against the other rulers.
