Seventeen

Tsubasa had his left arm broken and bleeding apace. Hayate growled and prepared for another boat, that certainly would be the boat end. Before the dog could attack, Nishihara stop him, ordering him to turn away and lie. The spectrum could heal part of the wound by absorbing the power of the general. He was with the bow and arrows ready and pointing to the priestess. She, without option, prepared for the fight.
The arrows did not stop appearing. Tsubasa no doubt was a skilled archer, because the girl could escape the arrows a bit. However, even managing to avoid them, Nishihara also failed in the attacks, with also was getting exhausted by having to divert every second. If she blinked my eyes, would be achieved in full.
That's exactly what happened. She stopped on a column of ancient temple to try to restore forces, however, had been hit in the arm and a second arrow grazed her face. Tsubasa was not really a riot. She shivered and wished Shiraname was there, as I wanted the care of her father and wanted to be done with everything. The priestess could not deliver, because even with the exhausted body, the spirit of Seika controlled her body so that she did not surrender or defeat and tiredness. At least not until Tsubasa be freed spectrum.
Jumping and dodging from side to side, she managed to make a scratch on the face of the spectrum, causing further anger him. Now she was persecuted by double arrows, only loaded with the same black flame which cornered the youkai and guardian. The speed of it was not the best at that hour, but she tried, because I thought at the end of that battle. She thought of being back in the arms of Shiraname. Thought in face of Sesshoumaru by allowing the child to be part of the family, as Suzuki and Arioto could be united.
That moment of distraction was the worst thing that could have happened to her. Before Nishihara realized, the spectrum was more agile and aimed an arrow at the left leg of the girl, causing her to fall from where he was.
- Die, Nishihara Arioto.

Hayate left the observation post and attacked Tsubasa, however, the charge of the dog was useless. The spectrum knocked him down with a single spell. Then he turned his attention again to the priestess and wielded a sword construed and gold, ready to deliver the final blow on it.
Nishihara closed his eyes. Both she and Seika realized that there was no solution for that. So that was it. Everything was over there. Only a few meters separated the shiny steel and sharp sword.
Before he could attack, Tsubasa was hit by a powerful blow and fell, leaving the sword to a long distance.
- Nishihara, come! He will soon regain consciousness, we have to get out of here fast.
- Where is Shiraname?
- Him .. He asked me to tell you he's sorry you engage it and he also said that ... loves you.
- Father, you're not saying Shiraname ... Why did not you do anything? Why?
- He took this decision more quickly than I expected. I'm sorry.

She knelt on the floor and cried, digging her sword on the ground and supported by Hayate, who had awakened and whimpering down the death of the owner.
- Glad to know that a part of my plan has been completed and now I just get rid of you two.

Tsubasa was conscious and armed to continue the battle. Sesshoumaru took the front line and took the place of the girl, since she would have no condition to fight.
