✗ Seven

The image of the eyes of the prince left Natassia without sleep. What a person like him would be doing those chains? For what reason he could not get out? How could he survive without eating or drinking? And the most important of questions: how he was still alive after a blow like that?
The night seemed to drag for her, which was prohibited by the boy himself back there. Other people also realize that there was something wrong with him, would not see? Anyway, he would eventually be killed again because anyone notice that the guy was not dead. This made percorresse a shiver down her spine, but what could she do? I knew no one and did not even know the whole town, so he had left only was secrecy and obey the instructions of the noble prince.
The streets were dark and silent, as they should be, however, she saw the light of a torch in the corner. No, it was not just a torch ... They were countless torches, which produced the shadows of several city residents. Some guards were in front, and two of them were carrying a person of stature secured with chains. By lighting the fire offered, looked dark currents.
Natassia's heart sped up at the same instant. The only person she knew who was trapped in dark current was the prince, but she was not sure who it was, because there was not any light around the face of that person. The girl went into the night toward the crowd, but was cautious and managed to get close enough to try to see his face. Because she was hidden in the shadows, no one could see her, but she could see the face of all where he was, because the moonlight enabled him to follow everything.
The first two guards went by, carrying torches to light the way ahead, followed by other guards who carried the prisoner. The moment came under the moonlight, the prisoner turned his head toward her and Natassia could see a pair of turquoise eyes focused on her. Could he see her? The girl was still in doubt, but when she realized that the guards were struggling to keep him there, doubts dissipated. He was really getting to see her location in the shadows, then the others could also see, right?
Was not what it seemed. As much as the guards looked him in the same direction, they seemed not to see, as they passed by her eyes, but apparently could not see her. Tired of trying to search for a person that they could not see, they abruptly pulled the chain that held prínicpe by his neck and continued walking. Natassia remained in the shadows, hidden and waiting to see where they were going.

Three men, who seemed to be royal guards, held the prince and put him in that same stage where he had been killed first. A man of about forty-five years was there with a sword in his hands and with impressive clothes. Certainly was the king, the father of the boy, whose look was scornful. The crowd that followed the guards were gathered around the stage, but neither the king nor the prince seemed to care who was assitindo or not. Natassia felt her heart speed up more and more every time she looked at the sword of the king as the guards put the prince kneeling on the floor.
- You mean you're still with us.
- If I were not you would not have to lose your hours of real sleep to come here.
The king frowned and one of the guards gave a sort of whip to it.
- You still cheeky, is not it? - King struck a blow to whip the boy's face, causing a wound - You do not have authority to speak with your father and your king in this way.
- From the time I was tried and convicted no longer have a king and who claim to be my father is dead to me. All those who have made up for this decline are dead in my mind.
- I'm sick of hearing his blasphemies. I will grant you a chance to live among us, so I'll run the same sentence to which you were subjected.
- If you think you will be able to place an order on you even started, you are mistaken. I became what I am now because of you.
She could hear whispers coming from the crowd and furtive glances cast in the direction of the king.
- I will not allow that your tongue keep active to talk nonsenses.
Natassia saw the king raising his sword, and the prince with his head bowed. She knew he was not there for her, but the girl still felt obliged to help you, without even knowing the reason of it all. She took a deep breath and stepped out of the shadows at full speed, so that no guard could see it or stop it. The king was already with sword raised and the blow was about to be applied. Natassia needed to be quick.
The sound of the blade cutting the air had no effect on the prince, who would not even look up high to avoid feeling nauseous when looking at the face of the man who should have support for it. The blade was already whizzing by his head, but he felt the anguish of having a perforated portion of the body. He opened his eyes and dared to look up when he felt something warm on his face.
- Who let this woman invaded the stage?
The sword of the king as the face of the prince, were soiled by the blood of Natassia, who was kneeling on the floor not feeling excruciating pain and prevented her from breathing.
- Why did not you stay hidden? I told you to keep away from me, did not I?
- Yes, but I could not. I simply could not see the same scene twice and be silent, doing absolutely nothing.
- And you know who helped you? - The king's voice sounded like thunder.
Natassia looked at him with a faint smile.
- Until now I did not know, but I just found out.
- And you think what you did was right?
- I'm sure of it. - She looked at the prince - I'm just like you. Do not hesitate to ask what your senses. You can be free from these chains.
He knew he could, but so far had received no support and also had not known someone who went through the same problems as him and see that this person was dead let him down.
- A threat has been eliminated. Now we need you.
The prince stood and Natassia's blood ran through his lips, causing him to have the strength to break the chains that bound black-in to the king and all the inhabitants of that kingdom.
The guards could not contain it and the viewers were frightened by the power of the prince, who until now was just a weak with a sharp tongue. The king was with the sword in hand, prepared to defend, since the guards were unconscious.
The boy's father lunged, knocking him no ground.
- Axel, my son, you would not be able to kill me, would it?
- Were you about to do this to me, was not it? So now it's my turn.
- You can do it, but the mark of current through your body will condemn you forever. You can never escape.
The blood ran across the stage and the prince disappeared, taking with him the body that had saved his life.

✗ Six

Axel was going through a bad time about what happened every month. The crisis was getting worse and he knew he could not survive more that way. Good or bad, he admitted deeply that Leah was right. No one else would accept doing what she was doing and so the boy would have to be content with her forever. That was frustrating and this idea made him sick.
Staying in college was becoming a challenge. Everything bothered him, since people lack even work to distract her head, which was starting to hurt. Anyway, what really made him uncomfortable was knowing that people cared only against each other when they did not look good and that all this "attention" was just curiosity. It was for this reason that he walked away all his people.
- What is it?
- ... I just thought this might help you.
Axel wasted no time in looking for the tray that Raven had placed before him.
- All this is useless.
- Why?
- You do not know what's going on with me and you're not even studying medicine.
- Well ...
- Listen, Daewron, I'm not willing to be your object of observation for today. If you'll excuse me, I want to be alone.
- Okay ... I'm sorry if I left angry.
- I just wanna be alone.
At first, Raven was silent because she was afraid that anything she could say was able to leave him even angrier than before. However, psychology always spoke louder. Before Axel could leave the table, Raven allowed herself to say:
- The cure is not in solitude but in a faithful companion.
   He looked back at her.
- And you're fitting it?
- I'm just saying that you can not heal if left alone. Try to find friends, you're not much older than us.
- If you knew my life you would not say that. Company is less what I want now.
- Maybe I'll understand if you explain to me.
- The situation is more complex than you think. Even after graduation you can understand.
- Axel, I've seen things that most people doubt. Whatever the problem, I'm sure that will not be so bad.
He took a book from the backpack and threw on the table.
- When you finish reading, look for me.
Raven grabbed the book, which looked more like a diary, but somehow incited the curiosity within it. Right there in the library, she opened the book and realized it was a history book, but it had something particular. Some paragraphs were highlighted and it made she did not stop to read the whole book, but it had no effect on her understanding of what was happening. At first, she did not imagine that someone like Axel was able to read a book like that.

✗ Five

He was tired, despite having been able to sleep after the discussion he had with Leah. Axel even remembered how he had stopped there, but the room and was again lying in bed. Mixing it with the mirror that was on the wall, he saw that dark circles were in their eyes. How the guy could show up to work? What else would think it was not important, but his performance was essential. If it did not work well, listen to complaints and the present day were not good for him. Whether or not. Axel stared at the new day head on.
- Is everything okay with you, Axel?
- Since when do you care?
Raven realized he was in a bad mood that morning, but it seems that the director did not know this and was angered by how Axel was respodido. She looked in the direction in which Axel followed and saw him with one hand on the wall. For a moment, she thought to help him, but he quickly composed himself. The boy glanced briefly at her and Raven saw that his face had a haggard and visibly tired expression, as if he had not slept in days.
- Axel ...
- I'm not willing to explain anything.
She winced a little for his hostility, but the state of his health was certainly compromised.
- I do not want to invade your privacy, Axel, but you do not look well.
   He looked at her coldly.
- Why is that? None of you ever bothered to know how I was before and now everyone decides to pay attention to me? This seems to me a mere act of curiosity.
- I'm so sorry.
Axel's gaze softened a bit, but the voice was sharp as a blade.
- I'm just not adapted to so many people worrying about me; I prefer to be alone.
He did not wait for her answer, but Raven was already prepared for it. The temperament it was unstable and she had promised herself she would keep him away, but seeing as he was today, it was impossible to keep that promise. She took her way, but without taking her eyes off Axel.

✗ Four

Axel closed his books, bothered with all that was written there. He looked at his watch. It was two o'clock in the morning and sleep it had completely disappeared. The insomnia appeared constantly and the next morning the bags were evident. Many said he should go to a doctor, but Axel did not care about that. What mattered was even consguir a new place to work.
- Still no sleep, Axel? Who knows I can not cheer you.
- I do not want visitors, especially when it comes to this visit you.
- I think you're in a bad mood ... Why not try and get some sleep?
Axel growled, impatient and angry and hung up the phone. He not only hung, but threw the machine out. He did not like to have people bothering you, especially after all that he saw and read about the past. In fact, it was not much of a history book, but had what he wanted - and would not - know.
- It's nothing polite off the phone, Axel.
- I said I did not want visits, did not I?
- Now we are old acquaintances, Ax.
He left the room and left the girl talking to herself.
- You can not leave a lady talking to herself.
- Want to bet?
Leah frowned. Anyway, she was resigned to the rudeness of Axel, but specifically today it was different. Something was definitely influenced his behavior.
- What is your problem today?
- I'm tired of you, I'm tired of everything, I'm tired of having to live like this!
- You have no choice. If you had thought of it before, maybe your life would be different. Besides, I'm the one who knows the real you and still accept living like this. Do not ask me how, but I am happy to do that.
The boy looked at her with contempt.
- I loathe you.
- Are you kidding me? So far I've been helpful to you and you just tell me who feels disgust me? Axel Slade, what's wrong with you? - Leah searched eagerly for some sign of the reason why he was so upset that night - Axel, what's the problem?
- What is the problem? You know the problem! Leah, I just should not satisfactions for you.
- I know this behavior ... You got someone else to replace me, is not it?
Axel was already in the nerves to the skin.
- Who do you think you are to talk like me? Leah, you mean nothing to me. Also, I do not even know why I have trusted you all this time.
- We have a past together, you forgot? Axel, you can not just get rid of me.
He put his head in his hands and sighed in frustration. How could he explain that it was not exactly what she was thinking? How to explain that all he was feeling at that moment was something that was being oppressed for a long time and that these days were becoming increasingly difficult for him. It was not just the events, but also the people who were around him.
Leah was still there, waiting for some response with crossed bracs.
- ... I'm not good to discuss today, okay?
- Axel, why is that?
- Leah, go away, please.
The girl's brown eyes sparkled, but she could not disobey him. They had a strange but unbreakable bond anyway. Axel did not even realize that Leah had disappeared from the room, though he was fixated exactly where she was eyes. Something began to take care of his body quickly and painfully effective way, so that he could not even think about having self-control over his actions. It was as if something shady was taking care of him and staining his soul with a permanent stain. If there was even a shred of humanity in him, it was about to go off.

✗ Three

The kingdom was not a prince, but no one but Natassia seemed to care about that. Whenever she passed by where the boy was chained, she felt tears sting the eyes. Anyway, there was absolutely nothing she could do about it. The guard had told himself that there was nothing to be done, then why continue with these thoughts?
The fact is that she did not want to forget. Natassia felt there was something wrong with the death of the prince and there was still the fact that she thought seeing him breathe gently. She went back to where the boy's body was chained and approached slowly, ensuring that there was no guard there.
Natassia looked slowly to the movement of the breath in his chest, but could see nothing, only felt a gentle breeze and barely noticeable on your face. When he looked up, he realized that breath was the breath of the prince. He was still alive, but how?
She did not know if I was over there or had someone he was alive. No, perhaps not a good idea, since it would try to kill him again. But she could not save this for her, because sooner or later he would die of fact, was to feel hunger, cold or thirsty.
Natassia heard the sound of chains in front of her. When she looked up, saw the eyes of turquoise him staring at her intently, but without any feeling. For a moment, she let out a scream, but his gaze made her shut up. He really was alive! But, how?
- Why are you here? - His voice was hoarse from lack of use, but even so it was still velvety and sweet to her ears - Go away.
- But you're alive, I need to communicate to someone!
- No it does not. I'm fine like this. Besides, you yourself did not rule out this hypothesis by thinking that they might try to kill me again?
- How do you know?
- Do you think high. - He smiled awkwardly, as if his muscles were rigid.
She did not know what to say, but wanted more than anything to keep talking to him.
- What is your name?
- Natassia Daewron.
He said nothing, just stood deep in thought, but without taking his eyes off her.
- I've never seen you around here.
- I just arrived in town. Even got here seconds before your "death".
- I think I saw you. Anyway, do not want to come back here.
- But ...
- Do not contest the orders of a noble, just obey. You do not want to just stand here and do not want you to tell anyone about it, I'm being clear enough? Unless you want to be the real killer, I advise you to remain silent.
- Yes, sir.
- Now get out of here before some guards appear.
Natassia could not walk without looking back. He was still with his eyes open, watching her leave, but without any kind of sentiment expressed in them.

✗ Two

The human behavior has always been something that fascinated her. Raven Daewron dedicated to study psychology in order to help people with their problems. She was a sophomore in college and realized how people began to understand after this course. She was not a spontaneous person, but could solve the small problems that people had.
- He rejected me! You good for nothing!
- I do not know to ensure a foolproof strategy, Rose. Sorry about that.
Rose released a deadly look at Raven, but she did not care. She was looking acupada to the laboratory, where was that boy. What was his name again ... Axel. Yes, there he was working beyond office hours again. Anyway, she felt that he did not want contact with anyone, so do not dare to do it for company. Axel has always been an extremely different from all the boys college type: serious, cool and reserved, besides having a remarkable intelligence.
- Excuse me.
- I'm so sorry.
Raven did not notice, but stood in front of the laboratory door, preventing the passage of it. Axel looked at her books for a moment.
- Psychology, right?
- Yes.
   He glanced at her.
- You seem to have a talent for it.
He walked away without giving them the opportunity to thanked. Nevertheless, Raven knew Axel was not looking for friends and, therefore, decided to continue preserving the distance between them. However, there was something in his personality that intrigued her deeply, but she could not tell exactly what.
She entered the apartment she shared with a classmate, who was in the kitchen preparing lunch. Raven had barely sat on the couch to begin to reflect on Axel, your friend appears as a ghost.
- What happened?
- It's nothing.
- The last time I heard that you had committed a ridiculous bet.
- Do not remind me of that.
- So tell me what happened.
Raven did not know whether or not said. Kira was her friend since childhood or even before that, maybe they were sisters from different mothers. Therefore, there was no reason to hide anything from her, as she never hid anything.
- Actually something happened, but I do not know if it's a problem or not.
- I'm willing to listen.
- Is no big deal, is that Axel Slade talked to me today.
- What? As? Why? Where?
- I just trying to help Rose to take a chance with Axel through everything I had learned about psychology so far, but I did not succeed. So, I kept thinking about where would be my mistake and I saw that I was standing in front of the lab and it was blocking the passage. He asked me passage and I apologized, but he did not answer and looked at my books and asked if they were on psychology; I answered yes and he said I seemed to have a talent for it.
Kira started laughing uncontrollably, which made Raven a little uncomfortable and confused.
- Why are you smiling like that?
- Because he sure knows you helped Rose to approach him. Raven, you're the one who puts the theories of their course and in everyday life do not you leave that library at least once Axel must have seen you there.
- Anyway, how could he draw this conclusion? Surely everyone knows that Rose does not need much help with that.
- But you are those who have more chance to watch him and see how he behaves. This is not one of the points of psychology?
- Yes, but ...
- Do not try to argue against that. Raven is evident that had any intervention from you. Anyway, he seemed angry or something?
-. No. He seemed normal as if nothing had happened.
- I do not really know what to say. - Kira looked toward the window thoughtfully - Axel is full of surprises.

✗ One

You can not just overwhelm the feelings we have a dream. They can be something that our mind creates, but may not be exactly something imaginary.
Axel Slade knew exactly that. He always dreamed, but they were not really dreams; were the memories that haunted him daily without rest. Actually, it does not even matter so much. He once preferred loneliness than people who did not know the value of friendship and love said. Axel sometimes felt lonely, but that did not last long every time he thought about the past and the friends he had lost. In fact he tried to dodge any attempt of friendship, in order not to lose anyone else. Expectations disappeared and he became a loner.
Still, it was an intern at a technology college a year ago and took care of the maintenance of computers and all electronic equipment existing at that place. Axel was admired for his talent and agility to take care of things, but he seemed not to care about the gifts he had. The only thing that made him quiet and satisfeiro was able to walk freely around the grounds and discover the most diverse places, in particular all the wings of the library and books that were on the second floor. Gradually, he ended up becoming also an intern at the library when I had free time and this resulted in his being forced to have contact with students, the vast majority were girls, who attracted by the beautiful physical form of it, frequented the place just to see it. He was two years older than them, but that was not an excuse for him to reject. If they were all just like that girl I would be at peace. Axel thought, watching people who roamed the aisles and casting furtive glances in his direction. There was only one girl who does not even care about his existence and spoke strictly necessary and would not even look him in the eye.
He sighed. There was absolutely nothing to do there and he also had no desire to read any books there.
- Give me just one reason why you ignore me!
Axel did not bother to look back. It was not worth arguing with someone who could never understand his situation and thought that only in appearances. He was sure of it inside and it made him confident enough to be able to dispose of any relationship that is not convenient way for him. And lately, no relationship has been convenient in his life.
- I do not need someone who has no ethical enough to know that one should not shout in a library.
He managed to get rid of it quickly and retook the way out. If not for the need to work, he would not keep that place any longer.
- We need you in the lab, Slade.
- My hours have ended.
The director did not like his answer.
- While you are within this college, you will accomplish any task whatsoever.
Axel went in and bumped sharply director.
- What's wrong with this kid?
- Each person behaves in a way, sir, we can not blame him for anything. Maybe he was not kinder if you stopped calling him by his last name?
The director looked at the library and with a scowl and went back to his room. The librarian looked at his departure and saw Axel working to fix a microscope. He is a good guy, she thought to herself.

✗ ʈhe קast is ᗬead

Sometimes we think that what we did was right, but in the end we found out that everything was not just a conceit and naivete on our part. That's how we find all our end and let the past die. Do not expect you to understand any of it, but understand that difference? I'm sure no one will remember what should be remembered. Life goes on and we can not stop to think about what we did in this life nor the lives we had before.
That's why a young aristocrat met his end so bitter and cold. Before, he was loved, but everything changed for trying to think beyond his time. He was not to blame, but that would have condemned? What would be the punishment? It was what many wanted to know, but there was never one right answer. There have been numerous hypotheses about the case, but none seemed true. Some said it was just a scam, others said that the boy was involved with some sort of organization to overthrow the king and some people also say that it was on the orders of the ruler himself because he feared losing the throne.
Anyway, none of it enough to Natassia, a girl who had just settled in the city was. Not completed two days for that boy was sentenced to death in the public square, but without the reason of death was exposed. Simply tied his wrists and ankles with thick ropes and tight knots and a soldier used a dagger to pierce the heart of the noble, whose eyes were turned to the crowd and remained so even after his death. She saw it all happen, but wanted to know the reason for everything so I could finally understand that sentence. However, who would say anything to a stranger in town? Natassia knew it would take a very long time for people to have any confidence in it.
That way, she went over to where the boy had died. The marble was still stained by his blood and remember what made her stomach churn. What happened to his body? Where they take it? Without answers, she wandered through the city, as if the answers could simply appear in her path.
Not far away, she found a place where several bodies were hung with silver chains and chained, as if they were a kind of intimidation to anyone who tried to do something inappropriate. Natassia sought the boy's body, but found nothing. So out of that place as soon as possible and tried to find a place where she could have a little peace, but it was impossible. That kingdom seemed to be made of fear, sadness and misery, which could easily be considered a haunted place.
Why was she there? With so many other better places, why she had to choose to live in a place like this?
A small cluster of people called her attention. Everyone seemed desolate, more than usual and there were desafazendo when Natassia finally arrived. She stared straight ahead and did not know she felt sadness or delight at seeing the noble boy with the sweetest expression and peaceful than other corpses in order to make everyone believe in the hypothesis that he was fast asleep. His body was totally stuck with thick, heavy chains in black color that went from neck to ankles, nothing lacking, a fact that was completely different from the other dead, they were just chained wrists and ankles, with the balance free body.
Natassia was fascinated and not conteu the impluso touching his face, which was as soft as velvet, but already cold by the absence of life. Looking closely at it, she thought seeing him breathe gently.
- Miss, what are you doing there?
The guard's voice startled her for a moment. She distanced the boy's hand and looked back.
- Miss can not be wandering the streets at night and is not allowed to touch the corpses, especially those who are black currents.
- I'm sorry ... - the guard was already moving away when Natassia saw the only chance I had to know what happened to the boy - Wait!
The guard looked at her again.
- What happened to him? Why was he killed? Why are you with these chains?
- I can only say that our prince is better this way. It's sad to lose our kingdom someone like him, but we can not do anything about it.
- What do you mean?
- Why are you so insistent on knowing? There is absolutely nothing that can be done to reverse this situation. Our prince is dead and we must continue our lives.

“I can still hear you saying: 'you would never break the chain'  ”
